The first Bulgarian chatbot program for Covid-19 is a fact
Skilly is a Bulgarian platform that has created a thematic chatbot dedicated to Covid-19. The chatbot informs the consumers about the difference between the coronavirus and the flu, how to prevent the disease, and when to see a doctor. Rosen Jivkov, founder of Skilly, points out that the processing of the information for the creation of the bot took about a month, using data from the World Health Organization. The information has been validated by experts who confirm that the guidelines are correct.
Regarding the company’s business model, Rosen Jivkov explains that Skilly is a platform for creating chatbots and Covid-19 is just one of them. Specifically, this chatbot is provided for the use of society and institutions free of charge. Currently, the work on it is focused on the prevention of human health - strengthening the immune system, intake of vitamins and minerals.
One of the biggest weaknesses of any chatbot is the way it communicates. “The bot should be seen as a very fast machine, not as a doctor to list all the symptoms to and to expect to tell you what to do”, said Rosen Jivkov.
There are many areas where businesses need such software, including customer service, as the chatbot saves time and effort and provides very quick responses to people who have a problem in a given area.
The use of artificial intelligence for solving business problems is among the tasks of project DIHUB - DIGITAL INNOVATION HUB FOR CLOUD-BASED SERVICES. There will be five digital hubs created in different parts of Europe, where the participants will be students interested in technologies and companies, which aim at developing new digital services.
