Easter this year falls at the end of April, marking the first long holiday of the year. The longest break in 2025 will be for Christmas, with a total of 5 days off. - May 24 – Day of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, the Bulgarian Alphabet, Education, and Culture, and Slavic Literature

- September 22 – Independence Day
- November 1 – Day of the People's Enlighteners
- December 24 – Christmas Eve
- December 25-26 – Christmas

School Vacations for Bulgarian Students in 2025:
- January 2 – Last day of the Christmas break
- February 5 – Mid-term break
- March 29 – April 6 – Spring break for grades 1–11
- April 4–6 – Spring break for grade 12
- May 21 and May 23 – Non-school days due to matriculation and national assessment exams
