Over 100 business and institutions representatives received at the Bulgarian Embassy in Bucharest
Over 100 guests – representatives of Romanian and Bulgarian companies, institutions, partners, and members of the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce (BRCC) – attended the official reception hosted at the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Bucharest.
The event opened with a video address by the Ambassador of Bulgaria to Romania, Radko Vlaykov, who emphasized that Romania is Bulgaria’s second-largest trading partner and highlighted the importance of tourism as a bridge for closer economic and cultural cooperation.
Bulgaria’s Commercial Attaché in Romania, Mr. Ivaylo Marinov, stated that the reception was “further proof of the long-term and sustainable business relations between the two countries” and expressed confidence that the Chamber’s new initiatives will contribute to even more active exchanges and partnerships.
BRCC President Viktor Gugushev welcomed the participants, noting that “the success of the organization is built on trust and mutual support between Bulgarian and Romanian companies.” He added that the Chamber continues to expand its network to be a reliable partner for businesses on both sides of the Danube while also building bridges at the institutional level. As confirmation of this, Mr. Gugushev announced the upcoming meeting of the Prime Ministers of Bulgaria and Romania, scheduled for October 17 in Ruse – the city where the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber was founded.
During the reception, certificates were awarded to BRCC members in recognition of their active role in strengthening bilateral economic relations.
