BRCC Joins the Diversity Charter
The Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce has officially joined the Diversity Charter Bulgaria – a national initiative of the Center for the Study of Democracy and the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum, which aims to promote equality, inclusion, and respect for diversity in the workplace.
By signing the Charter, the Chamber commits to implementing policies that support diversity and equal opportunities.
“As an organization that connects people and businesses on both sides of the Danube every day, we know that diversity is a source of innovation, ideas, and sustainable growth. Joining the Diversity Charter is a natural step in our mission to build bridges between cultures, companies, and communities,” commented Iliyana Ilieva, Executive Director of BRCC.
The Diversity Charter Bulgaria (www.diverse-bg.eu) is part of the European Platform of Diversity Charters, supported by the European Commission. It encourages organizations to develop inclusive practices and provides access to training, resources, and opportunities for experience sharing in an international context.
Through its membership in the Charter, BRCC will work to promote the values of equality among its members and partners in Bulgaria and Romania, inspiring the business community to adopt sustainable and socially responsible practices.
