New projects of Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber
There are two new projects, financed via the Erasmus+ programme, which the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber started to work on at the end of the year. Project LearnGen, where the Chamber is a leading partner, started on December 1st. Models for the mutual training of people from different generations will be created during its implementation. Together with the other project partners from Cyprus, Greece, Ireland and the Czech Republic, we will combine the digital knowledge of the youth with the soft skills that the older people possess. The idea is for the younger people to train the older ones on how to deal with the technological challenges, while the older people will share their experience in communicating in an offline environment. The development of connections between the generations and the more meaningful communication is one of the long-term goals of the Bulgarian-Romanian Children's Fund.

In the second project "Real Challanges fot VET students" (RC4VETs), together with Vocational Training Centers and professional schools from different parts of Europe, we will solve real business cases. Bulgaria and Romania are not the only countries that are aware of the huge difference between what the students are taught and the knowledge needed in the real world. That's why we will look for ways to shrink the gap between business and education. As an organisation, which supports the companies, we will provide practical examples. One of the cases, which we will aim to solve, is how to help a successful pastry shop in Ruse package and transport its non-standard cakes, which are produced by it. The Chamber is the only project partner from Bulgaria. The project is managed by the Center for Integrated Vocational Training, César Manrique, from Tenerife.
