Over 300 participants from Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey at “Connecting 4 Growth”
The 4th Regional Forum “Connecting 4 Growth”: Bulgaria–Turkey–Romania concluded successfully, bringing together over 300 representatives from business, institutions, and industry organizations. It established itself as a key platform for new partnerships, intensive networking, and real opportunities to expand economic cooperation in the region.
The event was organized by the Executive Agency for the Promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises (BSMEPA), in partnership with the Bulgarian-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BULTISAD) and the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce (BRCC).
The official opening ceremony featured Dr. Boyko Takov, Executive Director of BSMEPA, Dimitar Nikolov, Mayor of Burgas, Mehmet Sait Uyanık – Ambassador of Turkey to Bulgaria, Fikret İnce – Chairman of the Turkey-Bulgaria Business Council at DEIK and founder of BULTISAD, Burhan Nemutlu – Chairman of the Board of the Bulgarian-Turkish Chamber, and Victor Gugușev – Chairman of the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber.
Victor Gugușev welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of strengthening cross-border cooperation and regional ties among the three countries – a region with significant potential and a strong future. Eleonora Ivanova, Vice-Chair of BRCC, also took part and moderated a panel discussion on European programs, financing, and investments.
The Congress Center in Burgas hosted a strong presence of companies from the transport, logistics, trade, and tourism sectors. Panel discussions addressed current business challenges, growth tools, value chain resilience, and the transformative impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the economy. Participants explored innovation initiatives and held bilateral meetings to establish strategic business partnerships.
Representatives of industry organizations and companies from all three countries highlighted the importance of such formats for knowledge exchange and business development.
The forum once again proved its essential role in strengthening trilateral economic relations between Bulgaria, Turkey, and Romania, and in fostering growth and competitiveness in the region.
