When Art Becomes Part of the Experience
This summer, Vaya Beach Resort launched its own art events with the Double Trouble Art Series - an initiative that brings contemporary art into the very heart of the resort experience.
Presented in two consecutive chapters, the project brought together artists from Bulgaria, Romania, Austria and the Kingdom of Bahrain, including Archduchess Gabriela von Habsburg, Romanian sculptor Daniela Palimariu, Miryana Todorova, Sheikh Rashid Al Khalifa, and Mika Sav, under the curatorship of Stefan Stoyanov.
The highlight of the second edition is the presentation of The Crate Maze, the monumental installation by Sheikh Rashid Al Khalifa. First unveiled at the prestigious Art Basel, the work has now found its new home at Vaya Beach Resort.
Alongside the Double Trouble Art Series, from 1 August 2026 until 8 August 2026 the resort is also hosting a guest exhibition by Artmark, featuring some of the most celebrated names in Bulgarian art from the early decades of the twentieth century. This collaboration further strengthens the shared vision of Vaya Beach Resort to establish the resort as a destination where art, culture and international dialogue naturally come together.
The most meaningful collaborations often begin with a single encounter. Such was the case with the partnership between Vaya Beach Resort and Artmark - a natural outcome of the professional relationships and trust built within the community of the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce.
As members of the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce, we are delighted to share this initiative with the Chamber`s community and warmly invite you to visit us. The exhibitions will remain on display at Vaya Beach Resort until the end of September, offering the opportunity to experience the artworks in the unique setting for which they have been carefully selected.
